SOMEONE LIKE YOU

SOMEONE LIKE YOU

THOSE PEOPLE IN MY LIFE

Each and everyday in MY LIFE,
     I encounter PEOPLE.
I see people, I listen to people
I talk with, and deal with people.

I woke up everyday...and see people
Even in my dreams I see them all.

There are people I meet and get to know
There are people I want and some i let go.
There are people I like and people I don't.
There are people I love and people I loathe

There are people I like and regret liking
People I love and regret loving.
There are people I like and get to like more
People I love and get to love more.

There are people I care about
     but never cared back
There are people I love
    but later lost my trust.

There are people who hurt me
     because they care...
People I hurt too, yet love me the same.

There are people whom I gave so much
     ...yet never appreciated
I had sacrifice so much
     ...but  taken for granted.

There are people who hurt me
     they just don't care
Now their out of my life
No way, to cause me pain.

There are people i love, so kind to love me back
People who meant so much, yet i cannot have
Better for us to part, and never look back
Than to break, someone else's heart.

There are people who'd question your ideals
Show you the other side, and challenge your wits;
Gives you the chance, to study your deeds
And mend your ways, If you see fit.

Some people may make me, yet I'll always be me.
Some people may break me, yet I'll continue to be.
I know which ones to set free,
and which ones to stay with me.

At the end of the day, These people
 however they are to me...

Shall only be a PART of my life
But never shall meant the WHOLE life, to me.

MATTHEW 7:1-2

"Judge not, that you be not judged.
For with the judgment you pronounce
you will be judged,
 and the measure you give,
will be the measure you get."

Grand International Bazaar - World Trade Center Exhibit

MOLDEX REALTY INC. participated in the Grand International Bazaar at the World Trade Center , the exhibit runs from November 11-20, 2011. Was tasked to man the booth on the 4th day of the exhibit.

I could say, it wasn't one of the busiest exhibit i have attended. It was already on it's fourth day that time, yet I don't see so many people . Most of the exhibitors sell bags, dresses, fashionable items, accessories  shoes and assorted gift items, stuffs that should be saleable nowadays considering Christmas is fast approaching, and people should be on the look out already of gifts to buy for their friends and relatives. But according to some of the exhibitors i got the chance to speak with, They are not happy the way their sales are going, one is even afraid his daily sales couldn't compensate for the amount he spends for the booth rental.  I don't know if it's the organizer or the current economic situation...but, the event didn't quite turn out so busy and successful, on my personal opinion that, is.

This year, a lot of people, have been affected by flood and frequent typhoon, not only physically but also financially, another reason why maybe for some, it isn't wise to spend so much for Christmas shopping. As such, the event organizer should consider not charging an entrance fee instead, to at least encourage more people to check out the exhibit, and to give the exhibitors greater chance for a better profit. Manning the booth, I did not have any interesting inquiry as well, so i just spend the time roaming the area, to at least maximize the time giving out flyers, while looking for practical buys, for myself.  :)

It's all in ur mind...

"The battle for sin, is won or lost in your mind.
Whatever gets your attention, will get you."

You are, who you are, for a reason...

You are who you are for a reason.
You're part of an intricate plan.
You're a precious and perfect unique design,
Called God's special woman or man.

You look like you look, for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,
You're just what he wanted to make.

The parents you had were the ones he chose,
And no matter how you feel,
They were custom-designed with
God's plan in mind,
And they bear the Master's seal.

No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you'd grow.

You are who you are for a reason,
You've been formed by the Master's rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
BECAUSE THERE IS A GOD!

Our Children live or die with or without us. No matter what we do, No matter how we agonize or obsess, we cannot choose for our children whether they will live or die.

weekend escape

Thanks to the long weekend, last week... was able to enjoy free time with my family, Assuming there will be lots of people in the Mall, we decided to drive out of the city, to enjoy the drive and the outdoor for a change...so we went to visit my brother's place in Ashton Fields. Really love the place, it was a great escape from the busy life of the city. The atmosphere was very relaxing and breezy...the view of Mt. Makiling...awesome! The kids had fun at the park, while we enjoy the view..the lush greens and the calm, cool environment.

view from the basketball court...and we can even see the vivid colors of the rainbow...cool.

It feels good to escape from the busy city once in awhile to appreciate the beauty of nature, and to enjoy the fresh air and natural scenery, in just  an hour travel time.

WHO ARE YOU?

"Our CHARACTER is what we do
when we think no one is looking"
-H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

The true measure of one's CHARACTER lies on what he does, when nobody's looking. Character defines who you really are, as an individual. It is the total outcome of what is truly in your heart, mind and soul. Reputation on the other hand is who you are, in the eyes of other people. It is how and what other people perceived you are. Character is often mistaken for reputation. Oftentimes, people are judged by their reputation and not by their true character. This may be so, because they don't get much chance to know the person, better and deeper, that they just rely simply on what they see, or what they hear.

Shouldn't we be more concerned about our reputation, than our own character? I don't think so. Even we know for a fact that it is important to gain a good reputation, as it may define our influence over other people and the society and may dictate our position in organizations, It is even more important  for us to be concerned of "who we really are". Sometimes in our attempt, to live up to  a good reputation, we  loose our own self, in the process. We project a certain image, to please others, while we kept our true character inside. Eventually, even how much we conceal it, our true character will find it's way out.

So be concerned of your character, know your self, accept who you truly are. If by chance, you find the real YOU, may be not the best yet...improve yourself. Anyway, according to Jim Rohn "character is  not something you are born with, and can't change; It's something you weren't born with, and must take the responsibility of forming".

Better to build your character first , then your reputation...You'll be happier to "BE" someone, not because you HAVE TO...but because you WANT TO.

At the end of the day, when we face God,
He will see and judge us -- by who we truly are,
and never by what others, think we are.

TILL THEN...

TILL THEN

It’s been awhile, since I last saw you
Should have kept in touch, but then no
Can’t kid myself , I know I need you so
But no fair to ruin your life…no.

The space between us, bothers me
Your absence left me lonely,
The longing pains me, got no choice
That’s how it should be.

I need to let you go,
Don't wanna cause somebody else’s pain
Even if I know somehow
I will be hurting, all the same.

Happy thoughts, sweet memories stay
I wish it would go, but I know it will remain
I'll always miss you, that is certain
But I know, you'll find me someday.

BORACAY UNDERWATER ADVENTURE : REEF WALKING

It 's my first Boracay Trip with my kids, so i planned to make that short vacation...sweet. Even before   booking our reservation for the trip, I already find time to check out the internet, also ask some of my friends who had already gone to Boracay, about the must-see places, and adventures we could explore in the island.

The very first day we arrived at the Island, I already went out talking to some tourist guides roaming the area, offering for tour guide services. I noticed that their prices varies, also the services that they offer. One thing is for sure though, you could get a better deal if you come in groups not lesser than five. Also you should at least have an idea, where you want to go and what you want to do. If you don't have any idea yet, you might wanna ask the tour guide what they could offer at least you have an idea, if you 'll enjoy it or not. I suggest you maximize the time, and bargain to go to as much place as you can, to get the most of what you paid for.

The services that you would actually pay for is for the boat service or what they call "ISLAND HOPPING", This should include island hopping to various places of your choice like Puka Beach, Crocodile Island etc...and of course Reef Walking,  also known as helmet diving and snorkeling.

It's our first reef walking experience, and we're kind of hesitant at first, especially when we reach the spot where they do it, cause i could tell, that spot is already deep maybe around 20 ft. or so, and me and my kids we're really not that good in swimming, but that's why it's an adventure?! or at least that's what we thought, so we went for it. The session starts with a briefing, where you will be told what to expect and what to do during the reef walking session. The briefing was quite quick and concise so, if you'll listen well and follow instruction, you're good to go. I think it would be fun to go in group cause at least you have enough moral support to let you go through the most scary part going down the deep waters with that very heavy helmet, resting on your shoulder.

No worries though as soon as you plunge the water, the helmet becomes lighter as it flows the water. Honestly, plunging in the water, i almost panic cause i could feel the pressure as i sank deeper until the bottom of the sea. Not kidding, you really are going to reach the bottom and should be walking freely, while breathing at the mercy of that big helmet. Piece of advise...don't panic! surprisingly you'll be able to breath as usual under, and believe you me, when your eyes starts to see the beauty of the fishes and creatures under the sea, it will be all worth it. Imagine, being so close as touching the fishes, feeding them with bread, some even touching your hands and skin... the corals, starfish...amazing, really! It's worth every penny spent, considering you get home with Video CD/pics like the ones i posted here, as a souvenir...awesome! :)
